GYMNASTICS

AGES 5 & UP

NWK'S CURRICULUM
NWK'S classes are fun and motivational classes based on USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic program and the 30 years of gymnastics instruction Northwest has provided to the community.  The students are exposed to a variety of gymnastics equipment including the vaulting table, competition spring floor, uneven bars and balance beams for girls as well as the vault, floor, rings, parallel bars, pommel horse, and high bar for boys.  Other equipment includes the tumble track, trampoline, air floor, incline mats, trapezoid mats, back handspring trainers, climbing rope, foam pit, and many other training aids.  Our recreational classes give children the opportunity to simply enjoy a fun time in class or to take their gymnastics training to a higher level.  Our instructors are USA Gymnastics Safety Certified as well as certified in first aid and CPR.

 NWK CLASSES

BEGINNER GIRLS
This class is designed for students with little or no gymnastics experience.  Students in this class will learn the basic skills and body positions in gymnastics.
 
INTERMEDIATE GIRLS
The intermediate class builds on the skills learned in the beginners and introduces the students to combining skills together.  Completion of the intermediate skills set indicates the child is ready to join he Northwest Kids Level 2 competitive gymnastics team.

BOYS
This class is designed for beginner and intermediate level boys.  Strength, flexibility, and skill development are the focus in this class.

Tuition & Fees
      $59/month       1 class per week
       $94/month       2 classes per week

Annual Registration Fee
       $40 - 1 Child
       $60 - Family

Class Attire
Appropriate attire includes a leotard for girls (available for purchase in the NWK office) and t-shirt & shorts for boys.
