OUR PRESCHOOL GYMNASTICS CLASSES
The preschool gymnastics program is designed for girls and boys 18 months - 5 years old. Our curriculum is designed to stimulate learning through fun. We strive to create a healthy and enjoyable experience that your child will look forward to week after week. The curriculum addresses each child's age, developmental stage, and gymnastic ability. Our instructors are highly imaginative, well-trained teachers who bring knowledge, energy and fun to our program. Weekly classes are filled with exciting props and colorful equipment that is designed to excite the child’s young mind and body. Through each stage of the preschool program, the child develops a broader understanding of gymnastic basics, and continues to develop their coordination, agility, strength, power, balance and self confidence.
PARENT & TOT GYMNASTICS: Ages 18 months – 3 years
Parent & Tot classes are for our youngest friends and their favorite adult(s). This 45-minute class is full of laughs and learning, including both guided instruction as well as unstructured time to explore. This quality time with your little one helps grow spatial awareness, gross motor, and social skills. Our teachers guide you through several circuits within each class, teaching you how to safely guide your child through a variety of rolls, climbs, jumps and hangs. Our tots learn to do many of the same skills as their older friends; modified to be developmentally appropriate.
PRESCHOOL GYMNASTICS: Ages 2.5 – 4 years
This is a great first step towards independence. Children will run, jump, swing, climb and bounce their way through fundamental skills and basic form using a variety of equipment. Our friends have 45 minutes full of fun in this theme based curriculum, mixing music and movement with each of the five core skill areas– floor, bars, beam, trampoline, and vault. Instructors teach in progressions by breaking down skills into smaller parts, allowing students to kinesthetically experience each part. This format gives the child an opportunity to explore their boundaries, gain confidence in their decision making and learn new skills, all in a safe and age-appropriate environment, while continually challenging them to grow their core skills.
